פרופ' אייזנקראפט עוסק במאמצי מו"פ לרפואה צבאית במשך יותר משני עשורים, החל כרופא שדה בחיל הרפואה של צה"ל, ולאחרונה פרש כראש אגף הגנת NBC במשרד הביטחון הישראלי, שם הוביל לאומי. תוכניות מחקר ופיתוח ברפואת CBRN. משנת 2008 משמש פרופ' אייזנקראפט כ-SME ויועץ מיוחד באגף אסונות ומוכנות במשרד הבריאות הישראלי ברפואת CBRN. בשנת 2013 הקים את המכון למחקר ברפואה צבאית בפקולטה לרפואה של האוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים ובשנת 2019 מונה לפרופסור חבר בחוג לרפואה צבאית, האוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים, שם הוא עדיין פעיל. במחקר ופיתוח הקשור לטיפול חירום טרום בית חולים. פרופ' אייזנקראפט מוביל את המאמצים הקליניים והרגולטוריים של ביוביט.
